I like the oven. It replaces an old Whirlpool with similar features, but now I have a door window and light. It's a basic unit that does all I need it to do. One thing I discovered is that the back right burner will not stay on at the "Hi" setting. I was boiling water in a pot with the dial set in place to "Hi" but after about 6 minutes the heat turned off on its own. I was able to repeat this. None of the other burners do that. It stays on at a lower setting. Not a big deal, but something to keep an eye on.

This is the upgrade from my simple stove I had before. It had been 14 years and figured the brand was a great brand and decided to buy it again. I don't like a lot of bells and whistles on my appliances. I'm pretty old school and appreciate that GE still makes these simple models for simple folks.

After 25 years of living in our home, it was time to replace our electric stove. When we checked with Lowe's there was only 2 of this model in stock. We were able to load it into our vehicle and take it home. It heats so quick and cooks very evenly. And then cools quickly. We are very happy with this GE electric stove.

I really like my new range. I did notice that one of my frying pans will not cook on the burner because of the spring mechanism built in and my water did not boil to the temperature I needed it to be because of the cycling of the stove. I was very disappointed in the features of the stove for those two reasons mentioned.

We have struggled to find an affordable oven/stove that will last more than 5 years with all parts still functioning. We chose this one for the absence of digital controls as others have failed within 5 years. So far it as exceeded our expectations. It heats quickly and accurately. Controls are basic and easily read. Nice stove height and oven size. I would recommend.

This is my 2nd stove in less than a month and it still not working properly. The burners don't get hot and/or even come on. I will give it a few days and see if it's still not working, return it and get another brand.
