Excellent workhorse appliance. No bells and whistles but it is reliable and well made. Fewer things to break than on fancy ones. And it is union made in USA, like a dishwasher should be.

Just installed last week an so far its really nice! I was able to take the noise barrier from my old dishwasher and install it on this new one so I think its really quiet. I was happy that I could view the specific dimensions of the product before I bought it cause it had to be the right height and width and it was! Perfect look, great features and so far so good! Great value too!

While this one does work, we ran it for the first time today and it is THE LOUDEST dishwasher I have ever heard. It sounds clunky, it seems smaller, and according to my research, this is the absolute base model. While I'm not here to tell you what you should be buying and this would be considered "first world problems", I wouldn't have purchased this for a tenant of mine if I had one, or anyone for that matter. It sounds like an industrial dishwashing machine in a restaurant kitchen. A better analogy, close your eyes and imagine the rushing sounds of a giant waterfall, like Niagra falls. Well, with this dishwasher, we can achieve the same sound! Don't get me wrong, l like the sound of rushing water, but not in my kitchen when I'm trying to work, watch TV, have a conversation, or sleep! You can tell from the moment you touch it, there is no insulation in the machine, the latch is clunky, there is nothing "gentle" sounding; it is a complete distraction. We can't even hear the TV if we run this thing in the evening after work (because there is no way I'd run this during the day while we are in meetings- my husband and I work from home). I almost wish I paid to fix the last one because it was quiet. I would much rather continue washing my own dishes by hand than run this obnoxiously loud machine.

We bought this model for the price (<$400) but we got what we paid for. We consistently have to 'wash' all dishes before putting in the DW - especially for any bowls we put on the top rack. The most annoying thing about this dishwasher, however, is the stench from the drain. Dirty water sits in the bottom after a wash and smells like sewage. The smell is so strong that it is very noticeable upon entering the kitchen. We have to take apart the drain filter to clean it out which is not an easy job. There are only the 2 of us and this DW has not been a good buy for us.

Washes dishes, so it meets expectations as the cheapest dishwasher from Lowe's. Top rack collects a lot of water in the glasses/dishes that are too tall to stand upside down and have to go at an angle on the side racks designed for that, which leaves soap residue that has to be rinsed out. Heavily soiled items must go on bottom rack.
Also, it's just cosmetic, but one of the removable stickers on the front ripped off part of the soft plastic on the control panel.

The inside is not as large as some dishwashers I've had in the past but for a household of 1 or 2 its large enough.The dishwasher works well thus far. Only issue I have is with the drying feature. The plastic/ Tupperware bowls/lids do not dry.

I bought this dishwasher to replace another GE dishwasher I had previous. The GSD2100VWW is very quiet and does a good job at getting the dishes clean. The installation was easy and went without any issues. The dish racks were different from my previous GE dishwasher, holding less dishes, especially for bowls; but for the price, this dishwasher will definitely do the job.

I bought this dishwasher because my other 3-year old one - LG - kept having a computer problem. This dishwasher is easy to use. you don't have to click several buttons. The only things that I am not too fond of is that there is no sprayer coming from the "roof" of the washer and the racks aren't spaced as well as my old one, but I can live with that :)

The machine does quite a good job of cleaning dishes, but unless all you have a dinner and side plates, the capacity is very limited. It is hard to place large bowls and dishes in the lower shelf due to the central tower, while anything that is heavily soiled does not get clean on the top. At the same time, we were aware that it would be built down to a price so it cannot compete with more expensive models.

Dial is difficult to use..very tight and it's hard to click. Too row of dishes doesn't always get clean. If high heat dry is not used dishes are quite wet at finish of cycle. I'm really disappointed.
We did self install...one leg didn't fit...one hole was not tapped correctly. Fortnately we had the correct tool to fix it.

We chose this particular model because it's nothing fancy but it does exactly what it's supposed to do, leaves our dishes clean and spotless! I am concerned about this dishwasher that does not have a filter that can be easily removed and cleaned like other GE dishwashers. I like that it has one simple dial and no board. I don't like that it does not have a floor over the heat element. Hopefully this dishwasher will last like other GE dishwashers we have had.

The dishwasher is pretty loud. It does a great job washing and drying. I'm not a fan of the lower level. The tray feels flimsy, cheap, and of lesser quality. The mounding to place dishes into doesn't go very high. Dinner plates don't seem secure because of this. I do like the top drawer and the silverware basket.

You can spend a whole lot more money but you dishes won't be any cleaner. For the money this has more than enough settings, including dish warmer for Pete's sake, that you'll wonder why the inlcuded so much. The lack of all the electronic whiz-bang buttons is a plus since down South we have to contend with bugs getting into everything and they do a number on expensive circuit boards that kill appliances.
My one and only mini-gripe is that the water flushing line was almost too short and it would have been far easier if it had been one foot longer. This replaced a previous dishwasher and because of a different size fitting at the pump I could not use the already existing line.

When the bottom rack is full, if the back of the rack dishes weigh more than the front of the rack dishes, the lower back wheels fall off the track and it's difficult with a full load to get them back on the track.
